BifrostNetwork Eco lists residential proxy bandwidth at $0.50/GB. In the three-provider comparison below, Decodo lists pay-as-you-go bandwidth at $4.00/GB; Bright Data displays an $8.00/GB regular rate alongside a $4.00/GB promotional rate. These are listed bandwidth prices, not a benchmark of request success or total workload cost.

Residential prices and billing terms
All amounts are USD. The regular-rate column excludes promotions and negotiated or enterprise contracts. We identify promotions separately so readers can see when the current offer differs from the baseline.

Bright Data’s page also displays a 50% offer at $4.00/GB with coupon RESIGB50. That promotional rate is not used in the regular-rate column. Eligibility and availability can change. Decodo separately lists monthly bundles; those are outside this pay-as-you-go comparison.
We also inspected the official pricing pages for Oxylabs, IPRoyal and Webshare. Their numeric plan prices were not available in the retrieved page text, so they are excluded from the table rather than assigned an estimated rate. This is not a complete market survey or a claim to be the cheapest provider.
How to compare cost per GB
For a prepaid bundle, divide its pre-tax price by its included GB. For pay-as-you-go, multiply the quoted rate by billable GB. Do not compare a high-volume monthly tier with a one-GB on-demand price without explaining the minimum spend.
For example, 100 billable GB at $0.50/GB costs $50 in bandwidth charges. At $1.20/GB it costs $120. These are arithmetic estimates, not measured usage or checkout quotations.

What these prices exclude
The table excludes taxes and VAT, currency conversion and payment fees, optional add-ons, enterprise agreements, negotiated discounts and promotional rates. It does not establish minimum top-up amounts, refund eligibility or balance-expiry terms for every provider. Check those terms at purchase. It also excludes engineering time, browser compute, storage and retry overhead.
The providers’ GB units are used as listed; this comparison does not independently test byte accounting. It does not benchmark location availability, speed, sourcing, concurrency or success rates.
When this comparison is useful
Use it to budget variable-volume, authorized public-data collection when you want to compare bandwidth rates without committing to a monthly bundle. Then test a small representative workload and check the required location, protocol and session behavior.
It is insufficient for choosing a static IP lease, a mobile-specific network, a managed scraping API or a contract with service credits. Those products have different billing units and requirements. Frequently asked questions
Is $0.50/GB available for every BifrostNetwork product?
No. It is the published Residential Eco rate. Standard lists $1.20/GB, while other products have different rates or billing units. Static ISP leases are billed per IP per month.
Do all residential proxy providers require a monthly payment?
No. The selected plans above offer bandwidth without a monthly commitment. A minimum deposit or top-up is a separate question that should be checked at checkout.
Is the lowest cost per GB always the lowest project cost?
No. Billable traffic, retries, successful output, engineering time and optional services all affect total cost. Measure them against your actual authorized workload.
Are the comparison rates guaranteed for the rest of 2026?
No. This is a dated snapshot. Read each official pricing page and checkout quote before buying, particularly when a coupon or promotion is involved.
